Dixie Carter On ReAction Cancellation, SD! Ratings Update, More
– The final rating for last Tuesday's live episode of WWE Smackdown was a 2.53. PWInsider.com is reporting that the replay ended up airing on Syfy that Friday in its usual timeslot and did a 1.15 rating and 1,618,000 viewers.
The 2.53 rating blows away the highest rating that they've done on SyFy to date, which is a 1.78. Which leads us to ask, which night do you think SmackDown! should be on? Should it stay on Friday? Or move to its old slot on Thursday? Or move completely to Tuesday, which would also probably lead to the show airing live. Let us know in our poll on your right.
– TNA President Dixie Carter spoke to Fanhouse.com about the cancellation of TNA ReAction, stating, "'Reaction' was never picked up as a 52-week show. It was planned to air through the end of 2010... Look for announcements coming soon regarding 'Impact!'"
– As noted yesterday, according to an article on FightLine.com, Dave Meltzer noted on a recent radio show that Brock Lesnar has lost his desire to fight and is ready to leave the UFC. This could be a negotiating ploy on Lesnar's side since he is on the last fight of his UFC deal, nonetheless it's an interesting development that we'll be following. For the full article, click here.
