The Miz On ESPN, Piper Goes Nuts, WrestleMania Note

– On February 12th, the WWE will return to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Tickets go on sale on December 18th.
– Steve Singer sent this one in: On WWE On Demand, they are showing the 12/28/84 MSG show, and it's the show with one of the greatest angles of all time on it; namely the opening salvo in the build-up to Wrestlemania — Cyndi Lauper was given an award and the whole thing ended up with Roddy Piper destroying everything. I just watched it and it is every bit as awesome today as the day it was done.

– The wrestling themed episode of Strange Days with Bob Saget, which will be titled "What's so Funny about Pro Wrestling?" will air on December 7th at 10:30PM on A&E. The show was filmed last March at a Lucha Libre event in California and the Dragon Gate USA event held in Phoenix, Arizona during Wrestlemania 26 weekend. Here is a synopsis of the show: Bob goes from the backyards to the barrio to the big time as he explores the world of wrestling. Bob will ride along with two Lucha Libre brothers who wrestle in a church in East Los Angeles using their secret identities. He'll go to a backyard wrestling match where wannabe tough guys jump through tables to put on a show for their friends and neighbors. And finally, Bob will ride along as eight contenders from across the country compete for a spot in the limelight at the big event of the year by Dragon Gate USA. Bob announces the final match and even gets caught up in the drama inside the ring himself.
