Confirmed IMPACT! & SD! Matches, Shad Gaspard Update & More
– Former WWE performer Shad Gaspard will be auditioning for the role of Chapel in the big screen adaptation of Youngblood. As noted earlier this week, director Bret Ratner offered Gaspard the audition on Twitter.
– On Friday night, NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood will not be seen on KDOC-TV Los Angeles due to the Minnesota Wild vs. Anaheim Ducks NHL game. The program will air in HD as scheduled on Saturday night at 11:00PM.
– Casey George sent this one in: This is the second time in a year that I have gotten to meet Jericho. I went to his band signing last year. I showed up to Borders Bookstore in Torrance CA about 5pm local time and bought the book to get my wrist band to meet Jericho. They gave out three different color wrist bands Red, Yellow, and Green. They put everybody with the different color wrist bands in different parts of the store. At about 5:30-6pm they started to line everybody up. The people who came in the morning got Red wrist bands and were in the front of the line. They people who had the Yellow wrist bands (which I was a part of) got in line behind the people with the red bands and they people with the green bands were the last group that got to meet Jericho. I would say that there was no less then about 200 people there to see him. I was about 50 or so people back in line. Jericho showed up a little after 7pm which is when the signing started. The line was moving pretty quick. I got to the front of the line around 7:45pm. They had it set up to were you could get multiple things signed and was able to sit next him and chat for a minute while they took your picture with him. I had him sign the book and my fozzy t-shirt that I wore. He was very nice to everybody that he met and really enjoyed being there. I would say that this was a better signing than the one I went to last year were you couldn't get a picture with him. All in all I stood in line for about an hour and forty five minutes from when they lined us up till I got to the front of the line. It was a pretty decent turnout for him and I'm glad that I drove the hour to meet him.
