UFC 126 Main Event Results - Silva Vs. Belfort

UFC 126 is now history, and UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva broke his own record of most consecutive UFC title defenses tonight after defeating fellow Brazilian Vitor "The Phenom" Belfort. Forrest Griffin also made a triumphant return to the Octagon.

Meanwhile, light-heavyweight prospect Jon Jones took an enormous jump right to the front of the light-heavyweight division, replacing Rashad Evans in earning a title shot against Mauricio "Shogun" Rua after defeating previously undefeated Ryan Bader.
