More On Kurt Angle's Arrest + WrestleMania Update, More

– WWE.com, which was revamped today, has switched the main event listing for WrestleMania XXVII from Triple H vs. The Undertaker to WWE Champion The Miz vs. John Cena as we noted earlier. They have gone back and forth on this numerous times already and that is expected to continue throughout the week as everyone states their case.

The Associated Press has picked up on the Kurt Angle arrest story. That means numerous media sites will now pick up the story. The AP article quotes Capt. Kevin Robson of the North Dakota Highway Patrol and he contradicts some of the statements that Angle made on Twitter about his arrest. We posted most of his comments here on the website yesterday but just to recap – Capt. Robson said that Angle made no call the police and that a passer-by on I-29 called the cops to report there was a car in the median of the freeway. An officer was dispatched and found Angle behind the wheel of a red Dodge Durango. The officer said he smelled alcohol on Angle's breath and then Kurt failed field sobriety tests. Angle said on Twitter that he hit an icy patch, but according to the officer, the road was completely dry. Angle also told police that he had received a text message that distracted him, which caused him to go into the median. This is damage control at its finest by Kurt Angle folks. Basically, no matter who it is, you'll always get the "everything is fine and blown out of proportion" response.
