Sound Off: Stone Cold Returns To RAW
Tonight's RAW kicked off with The Undertaker's bells tolling as he came out to the ring and cut a promo on Triple H. This was followed by a backstage assault on Randy Orton by the New Nexus which lead to the ring for a match between Orton and David Otunga. Otunga lost the match and was given a punt to the skull for his troubles.
Alberto Del Rio came out with his NXT Rookie, Brodus Clay, for a match between Christian and Clay. Christian won the match but suffered a beat down by Del Rio.
Divas Champion Eve, defended her title against Nikki Bella. The match was interrupted by Michale Cole crying for the match to end because he has a very special announcement to make. The match ends with Eve pinning Nikki to retain the Divas Title. Cole announces his Special Guest Referee, JBL. They are interrupted by the sound of shattering glass. Stone Cold Steve Austin came out and Stunned JBL. The beer is flowing as Stone Cold signs the contract to be the Special Guest Referee for the match between Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler at Wrestlemania.
We also saw Sheamus, lose to the US Champion, Daniel Bryan via ten second count out. Sheamus went on to cut a promo saying that next week, he will become the New US Champion and if he doesn't win the title, he will quit. Bryan accepts the challenge. This was followed by a match between CM Punk and R-Truth. Truth tapped out to the Anaconda Device.
Vickie Guerrero came out and introduced RAW's latest acquisition, Dolph Ziggler. John Morrison is introduced and the bell rings. Ziggler would go on to win the match after a Zig Zag. The RAW General Manager chimes in saying that Dolph was hired, but Vickie was not. However, Vickie can have a job on RAW if she wins her match next week against Trish Stratus. Vickie was then escorted out of the ring by security.
John Cena came out to deliver his Final Knockout. Instead of addressing the Rock in Rap, he addressed him in Hip Hop. After his promo, Cena is laid out by The Miz who then cuts a promo on Cena and The Rock.
