Jesse Ventura Talks New Book, If There Will Be Another Season Of His Show & More
The former Governor of Minnesota, New York Times best-selling author, the host of truTV's "Conspiracy Theory," and WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura was the featured guest on Monday Night Mayhem last week. Jesse joined The Big Mosh and Todd Vincent to discuss the release of his new book "63 Documents The Government Doesn't Want You To Read", you can check out highlights below courtesy of The Mayhem's official correspondent, Paterson from New Jersey:
Why he chose to cover just 63 documents in the release of his new book ("63 Documents The Government Doesn't Want You To Read") and why he feels that people in our government "have behaved like Nazis": "Well, '63 was the year Kennedy was killed, so that's why we chose 63. We just wanted a great variety of documents, and naturally, we wanted them to be controversial. What was difficult about doing this book was it stretched my patriotism to as a thin as a string right now. There are many people in our government that are fine, upstanding, hard-working people, with the best in mind for our country. But there are also evil people in our government, and the difficult thing looking at these documents was that you can substitute the word Nazi and it could work. You have people in our government that have behaved like Nazis."
What he wants the American public to learn from his latest book after reading it: "I want them to extract the fact that we have to be vigilant as citizens; that if we are going to have a good government, we have to be the ones to keep it that way. We have to hold our elected officials' feet to the fire, so they can't get away from things like this portrays."
The latest on a possible third season of his hit TruTV series ("Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura") & why he has decided that now is the time to launch his first official website: "We're waiting to hear if we have a go or not. They've been in communication with myself & my production company. We don't have the go ahead yet, so at this point, it's up in limbo if there will be a third season. I have a feeling there might be. I would like to say this to all the fans out there: I have unleashed my website. So anyone who wants to stay up on everything political with me, they will now have the ability to do so."
Much more is contained in Jesse Ventura's return to The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network, including his candid thoughts & comments on the process of choosing the topics he selected for the release of his new book, how the American people can find some of the documents he discusses/uses in the book, whether he feels the recent events in Japan contribute to the 2012 prophecy, an update on his lawsuit against the TSA & Homeland Security, plus much more!
