Sting surprised a lot of people by stating during a recent interview with The Daily Star that he was offered a match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVII as well as a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame, according to a report on The Pro Wrestling Torch.

People within WWE have said that there were no formal talks between Sting and the organization. They also say that Sting was not offered a match against The Undertaker, but there was informal talk regarding a legends contract and a spot in the Hall of Fame.
