Sound Off: Your Thoughts On Smackdown 4-15-11

Tonight we saw The R Rated Superstar Edge give his final farewell to the fans of Smackdown before he had to relinquish the Heavyweight Championship. He talked more about his long career and mentioned his mom who was at ringside to see her son.

The evening started with Alberto Del Rio coming out and asking for Edge to come out and just give him the Heavyweight Title. But Teddy Long came out to announce that there would be a 20 Man Battle Royal later on to determine his opponent at Extreme Rules.

That match came down to Christian, Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger, and Justin Gabriel after the master of the 450 splash eliminated his Corre leader, Wade Barrett. Rey went on to take out Gabriel as Swagger eliminated Mysterio, ending with Christian eliminating the All American American to win the match and face Del Rio at Extreme Rules for the now vacated Heavyweight Championship.
