Sound Off: Your Favorite Memories Of "The Macho Man"

It's truly a sad day for wrestling fans with the death of "Macho Man" Randy Savage.

As I wrote earlier, Savage was one of the big reasons I first became a wrestling fan back in the late '80s. The first wrestling house show I ever attended was at the Capitol Centre in Washington D.C. back in 1988, and I was hyped beyond belief to see Savage, who was wrestling Hulk Hogan in the main event that night. I remember taking a "Macho Man" poster — even though it was a house show — and cheering at the top of my lungs for Mach, while the kids around me were going for Hulk.
