Here is the latest update on the Ric Flair vs. Highspots.com legal issue. Flair has not made good on his agreement to pay Highspots and is now in contempt of court for failing to adhere to a binding court ruling. Due to this, Highspots can now petition the Court of Mecklenburg County for additional legal remedies in order to get Flair to adhere to their settlement agreement. This includes jail time or garnishing his wages. Highspots is considering releasing the deposition Flair gave in the case as it was recorded on both video and in text form. They are considering this so that the public can see Flair admit that Highspots claims against him were true.

The lawsuit was started after the company lent Flair a sum of money, which was never paid back. Flair was set to pay the debt off via appearances and signed merchandise, but allegedly failed to carry out his end of the agreement. Flair had given Highspots possession of the NWA title belt as collateral, and Highspots had planned to auction it off to get their money back. But it was revealed that there was already a lien on the belt from another debtor Flair owed money to.

In February it was announced that the sides had come to an agreement. But since that time, Flair has not made any payments that were agreed upon in the court approved settlement.
