As of several days ago, there were no plans to have CM Punk cut a heel promo at the Money in the Bank PPV. Of course, the event takes place from his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

According to a source, WWE management knew that CM Punk was thinking about leaving the company as far back as last year at the time Chris Jericho left the company.
