Jesse Neal's In-Ring Return, WWE/TNA Ratings, More

– TNA star Jesse Neal is scheduled to have his first match back on 7/17 in Sacramento, CA for the SPW promotion. Neal has been out of action with a neck injury.

– Here is a recap of some recent WWE & TNA television ratings:

WWE SmackDown!: The July 8th edition of SmackDown! drew a 1.73 cable rating, with 2.72 million viewers.

TNA iMPACT! Wrestling: The July 7th of TNA iMPACT! drew a 1.11 cable rating, with 1.69 million viewers. The show drew a 0.64 among males 18-34 and 0.76 in males 35-49 (a much lower number than usual).

WWE Monday Night RAW: The July 4th holiday edition of WWE RAW drew a 2.40 cable rating, with 3.72 million viewers. This show ended up being the lowest rated holiday episode of RAW since December 31, 2001 (that show drew a 2.4 rating as well). The show also saw a drop years ago on July 4, 2005 back when it was on Spike TV. That show drew a a 2.6 rating. It should also be noted that 66.3% of the audience was male.

As for the June 27th show, it drew a 3.14 cable rating, with 4.95 million viewers. It remained the No. 1 show on cable that night.
