Roddy Piper Talks About Having Cena & Rock On Piper's Pit & More

WWE Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper was one of the featured guests on this week's live edition of Monday Night Mayhem. Here are some interview highlights courtesy of Paterson, MNM's associate producer & official correspondent:

Why he is looking forward to having the opportunity to reunite with Greg "The Hammer" Valentine & interact with his fans at next month's NWA Legends Fan Fest to commemorate their infamous Dog Collar Match at Starrcade '83: "I'll be anxious to hear what the fans have to say about when they were there (at Starrcade '83), or when they watched it...and then they get to pick up the dog collars and look at them. They are a serious piece of business, I kid you not."

The likelihood of "Piper's Pit" branching out even further into the world of Hollywood: "The CEO of the website Funny or Die is a good friend of mine. I'm going to talk to him about doing a 'Piper's Pit' with Charlie Sheen & Lindsay Lohan, and maybe doing one or two a month. I thought that might be some fun also. I'll settle the football strike. I have no problem saying what needs to be said."

Why he believes that "Piper's Pit" is the place where John Cena & The Rock can settle their differences before their highly-anticipated match at WrestleMania 28 in Miami & why he would be very disappointed if that did not happen: "The WWE has to recognize this. You have The Rock who has done x amount of movies, Cena who has done x amount of movies, and myself x amount of movies & all this stuff outside of the business. If you don't put us together in 'Piper's Pit,' you're nuts. That's where magic is made. The fun & the seriousness. We have that opportunity for us who are still around and with that kind of reputation to give the fans something they have never seen before, and that's lay our reps on the line. If they don't do that, I would be very disappointed."
