SummerSlam Main Event, New WWE Champion(s) Crowned, Cee Lo Green, Big Returns At RAW

– During Triple H's "State of the WWE" address, "The Game" announced Jim Ross' return. John Morrison also returned during the segment, attacking R-Truth.

– It was announced during tonight's show that Cee Lo Green will perform at SummerSlam.

– Rey Mysterio defeated The Miz to win the WWE Championship in the opening match on RAW tonight.

After the match, The Miz ambushed the freshly-crowned champion before stomping off. Mr. Money in the Bank, Alberto Del Rio, then appeared, hoping to cash in his contract. Before he could, however, the new champion flew over the top rope onto his attacker, which sent the second generation grappler fleeing up the entrance ramp.

Mysterio, a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, had not held the WWE Championship until RAW this week.

Later in the evening, Triple H announced that he booked a second WWE Championship match for later in the show between Mysterio and John Cena. Cena ended up winning the match clean with the AA.

Cena didn't get too celebrate for too long, as "Cult of Personality" played over the speakers (CM Punk's old theme in ROH), and CM Punk came out to the ring. Punk held his title in the air, and Cena did the same as the show ended.

It looks like Punk vs. Cena for the "real" WWE title at SummerSlam. Obviously Punk and WWE have agreed upon a new deal.
