– John Howard has been fired from UFC. Howard previously won his first four UFC fights, but was released after three straight losses. He announced in a video message that he could be heading to Bellator Fighting Championships or DREAM. He said: "The rumors are true. I got released today. They finally announced it. ... You get three straight losses in the UFC, and this is what happens. I'm not too mad about it. It's whatever man. I tried my best. My last fight with Matt Brown, I didn't think I lost, but when it goes to the judges, that's what happens. My plan right now is to either go to Bellator or DREAM ... or whoever makes the best offer, I'm going there. To UFC, Dana White, Joe Silva, thank you for the opportunity."
– After three losses in a row, The Ultimate Fighter 9 runner-up Andre Winner has also been fired from UFC. Winner's manager, Wad Alameddine, confirmed the news. Winner left the company with a record of 2-4. Alameddine said Winner talking with regional U.K. events for possible future fights, as well as BAMMA. Out of all the runners-up in the history of The Ultimate Fighter, only ten remain with UFC: Kenny Florian, Stephan Bonnar, Ed Herman, Chris Lytle, Manny Gamburyan, C.B. Dollaway, DaMarques Johnson, Brendan Schaub, Michael Johnson and Ramsey Nijem. Including Winner, those released over the years include Luke Cummo, Brad Imes, Josh Haynes, Patrick Cote, Tommy Speer, Phillipe Nover, Vinny Magalhaes and Kris McCray.
– Generation Me requested their TNA releases because they were frustrated and felt "unappreciated". They plan on returning to ROH and the indy scene under the "Young Bucks" name.
– Orlando Jordan wasn't given a choice and was fired over the weekend. He was told him it was due to "budget cuts". That's the reason Eric Young needed a new tag-team partner at the Destination X pay-per-view.
