The WWE Championship match is first.

Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz

The locker room is shown watching the match backstage. Great match. Mysterio won clean with the 619/top rope splash combination. Backstage, the faces are cheering while the heels are booing.

Winner and NEW WWE Champion: Rey Mysterio

After the match, Miz attacked Mysterio from behind as he celebrated. Alberto Del Rio's music and he came out with a ref and the briefcase. Del Rio said he's cashing in the briefcase, but Mysterio nailed him with a dive from the outside of the ring. The bell never rang, and Del Rio took the briefcase and ran to the back. Mysterio's music hit again and he celebrated in the middle of the ring.

It is announced that Triple H will deliver the State of the WWE address later tonight.

Back from commercial and the faces are congratulating Mysterio. Mysterio bumps into John Cena, who shakes Mysterio's hand and says Congrats. Josh Matthews interviews Rey, who says that he's made sacrifices and that he's coming home with gold.

A recap as last week was shown where Triple H took over the reigns of the company from Vince McMahon.

Back from commercial, and a package on Dolph Ziggler winning the U.S. Championship is shown.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Evan Bourne

Bourne went for Air-Bourne, but Ziggler moved out of the way and hit the Zig Zag. He then cinched in a sleeper hold to win the match. While he was heading to the back, he dared any superstar to top that.

Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del Rio is announced for tonight as we head to break.

Back from commercial, and The Bellas are arguing with Eve. Keith Stone took a marker to draw a tattoo on Nikki's arm, and the Bellas took off, impressed. "You are so smooth," said Eve, with the "Always..." response.

Kelly Kelly and Eve vs. Melina and Maryse

Kelly and Eve won the match after Kelly pinned Melina clean.

Backstage R-Truth is talking to Triple H. It is revealed that Triple H will reveal a blockbuster return to WWE.

It is revealed that Cee Lo Green will be a part of SummerSlam.

Triple H's music hits and he heads to the ring. He says that before he gets started, he wants to acknowledge why we're all here and why WWE is the success that it is, stating that it was due to Vince McMahon's vision and genius, and he thanks Vince. A light "Thank You Vince" chant breaks out.

Triple H then said he's not here to talk about the past, but the future and hypes crowing a new WWE Champion earlier tonight. Triple H said that since he's in charge, he can do what he wants, and we're going to have a second WWE Championship match tonight, and Rey Mysterio will defend against John Cena. Big pop from the crowd.

Triple H said that one other thing has been bothering him, and it's one guy's name being chanted all over as the crowd breaks out a "CM Punk" chant. He then said he's re-signed him and asks the crowd to welcome him back to RAW. Jim Ross' music hit, and he enters the ring and shakes Triple H's hand before heading to the announce booth. Jerry Lawler is overwhelmed, while Michael Cole is distraught. Ross offers his hand to Cole, and Cole refuses. Cole trows his headset off and takes a mic and stands on the table.

Cole says that Ross is not the future, and that he's done everything that the company has asked him. He said he'll do anything for the company except working with JR, and that he refused to work with this "Oklahoma redneck." Cole insults Ross for a bit, asking where all his money went and saying that Ross wants to kiss HHH's ass like he did Vince McMahon's. Cole said he won't work with Ross. Triple H said he figured Cole would say that, and was going to fire him but didn't because the severance package was too good. He said that if Cole left, he's free to, but would give up his future earnings. Cole said he wasn't quitting and sat down. Triple H told Cole to get up or he'll be "late for your match." Triple H got Cole some gear and told him that he was next, unless he wanted to quit.

R-Truth comes out talking to some invisible friends and says that Triple H, who has been part of the conspiracy from day one, is now in charge. Truth said that unlike Cole, he likes what he sees and that he sees a new day. Truth wants to know what HHH is going to do for him and what he'll do to "rectify" the conspiracy against the Truth. Triple H mocks Truth talking to his invisible buddies and says that Truth needs medication. Truth finished by saying, "you might be the game, but I'm not playing." He said that he re-signed another guy that wants a piece of Truth and John Morrison's music hits and he walks out on stage. Morrison put a beating on Truth and ot him in the ring. He laid out Truth and finished the attack with Starship Pain.

Triple H's music hits, and Michael Cole comes out in Triple H's gear. Cole is doing all of Triple H's mannerisms. Jerry Lawler is cracking up while the audience is more annoyed than amused. Zack Ryder's music hits, and he's facing Cole.

Zack Ryder vs. Michael Cole

Ryder quickly hit "Rough Ryder" to floor Cole and get the win. Cole cried on the mat after it was over.

Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio dominated most of the match, and finally beat Kofi clean via submission with the arm-bar.

John Cena vs. Rey Mysterio is up next.

Backstage Josh Matthews goes to interview The Miz, who tells Matthews to shut up. He says that Cena got us in this mess because he lost the title to "he whose name we shall not mention." Miz notes that the face of the company is a man with no face. Miz plugs his appearance on George Lopez, and says that Triple H as COO is a huge mistake. Great promo by the Miz.

Rey Mysterio vs. John Cena

Mysterio hits the ring first. The match takes place after the commercial break.

A #1 Contender's Divas battle royal is announced for next week, with the winner facing Kelly Kelly at SummerSlam.

Cena's music hits to a huge reaction. After a few minutes, loud dueling "Let's Go Cena / Cena Sucks!" chants broke out.

Another great match. Cena won the match clean with the Attitude Adjustment. After the match, Cena and Mysterio held each other's arms in the air.

Cena's music got cut off and "Cult of Personality" started playing. Cena looked on confused. CM Punk then made his way out onto the stage with the WWE championship around his waist. Punk then entered the ring. Cena lifted his belt to a mixed reaction. Punk then lifted his belt to a big pop. Both held their respective belts in the air as the show went off the air.
