This Week's RAW Rating + The Rock/NBC Update
– To clarify the earlier post about the NBC wrestling series, the pilot is actually a "put pilot." This means that contractually, NBC will air at least the pilot once it is produced. Generally this results in a series order though.
– The August 22 episode of RAW scored a 2.97 (3.0) cable rating, down from 3.29 the week before. The first hour drew a 2.93 (2.9) before increasing to 3.01 (3.0) in the second.
It is the program's lowest mark since a 2.90 rating on July 11. Other than the Fourth of July episode, which drew a 2.4, it was the second-lowest rated episode since October 11, 2010.
Last night's program averaged 4,637,000 viewers viewers over the course of two hours, down from 5,055,000 viewers.
