Twitter Fight: CM Punk And Steve Austin Back At It
CM Punk and Steve Austin continue to trade verbal jabs on Twitter.
After last night's Mayweather – Ortiz fight, MVP took to his Twitter and wrote, "Does this mean we get to see the record breaking $ fight now that EVERY 1 WANTS to see?," hinting at a possible Floyd Mayweather Jr. – Manny Pacquiao fight.
CM Punk played off MVP's tweet, writing, "@The305MVP: Does this mean we get to see the record breaking $ fight now that EVERY 1 WANTS to see? @CMPunk vs @steveaustinBSR ?!?!"
Austin took to his Twitter and replied, "never forget Punk...on my worst day, and your best day...SCSA would crumble the very foundation of the SES...with all due respect..."
Punk, referring to last night's Mayweather – Larry Merchant altercation (details), wrote, "HBO should fire you. You don't know s–t about boxing!"
As noted earlier the week, Austin recently said in the latest issue of Power Slam magazine that if he were to ever do anything in WWE again, it would be with Punk.
"I love what he's doing, and there's a lot of parallels. I'm not saying it's definitely going to happen, but if I could cherry-pick my opponent, and all the stars lined up, I'd love to work a program with him," Austin said.
If the stars aligned and the match happened at WrestleMania, which match would you be more excited about: Punk vs. Austin or Cena vs. The Rock?
