– Danshoku Deeno and "KUDO from DDT, Ryuji Itoh and Jaki Numazawa from Big Japan, Kengo Mashimo from K-Dojo and Jun Kasai, Takashi Sasaki and "Kamui" from Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS will all be wrestling in Philadelphia in December. They will be working an afternoon matinee event at the ECW Arena on December 3rd prior to the CZW Cage of Death event.
– CHIKARA runs Joshimania on December 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Manami Toyota, Aja Kong, Toeshi Uematsu, Meiko Satomura and Mayumi Ozaki are confirmed for the shows.
– Joel Maximo of the SAT tag team is in the process of opening up his own school. He will be running some independent dates under the Fighting Spirit Wrestling banner, and talent expected for the shows include Homicide, Sami Callihan, Shane Douglas, Fa?ade, DRS, Prince Nana and several WWC talents.
– On November 12th, Pro Wrestling Syndicate will present the first-ever meeting between Bob Backlund and Jerry Lynn.
– From Jon: I don't know if this is totally wrestling newsworthy, but seeing as Bob Mould was involved with WCW for a time, I thought I'd pass this along. The Foo Fighters sent out a notice on Facebook, letting everyone know that Dave Grohl would be appearing at "See a Little Light: A Celebration of the Music and Legacy of Bob Mould". It's going to be held at the Walt Disney Grand Hall in Los Angeles on Monday, Nov. 21st at 8pm. Tickets are now on sale.
