Would Shane Helms Return To WWE?, Del Rio Storyline

– Former WWE star Shane Helms was recently asked on his Formspring account if he would return to WWE. Helms said he would if the timing was right and his body was healthy. Regarding going to TNA, Helms said he would consider it, depending on the offer, but is currently under contract to the Lucha Libre USA promotion.

– WWE's website has a new storyline video interview with John Cena where they say Alberto Del Rio is playing mind games by not being there this week to face Cena. As noted before, Del Rio has been in Mexico trying to renew his work visa. Cena said that if Del Rio doesn't show up for Night of Champions, he will lose the WWE Title.

– WWE did an angle at last night's SmackDown live event in Nimes, France where Ted DiBiase beat Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes by DQ when Cody used his mask. After the match, the babyface DiBiase hit Cody wth Dream Street and took the Intercontinental Title to pose with it.

– WWE Superstar Kevin Nash is being advertised for Awesome Wrestling Entertainment's Night of Legends pay-per-view on October 15th. It will be interesting to see if Nash remains on the pay event, which airs for $25 on InDemand, Dish, DirecTV, AGTV and Bell TV. Some of the other names being advertised include Diamond Dallas Page, Tommy Dreamer, Terry Funk, Finlay, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Lita, Sunny and others. The event takes place at the Augusta Expo Center in Fishersville, Virginia. The AWE promotion is planning on running more pay-per-view events in the future.
