Bobby Roode Talks Match With Kurt Angle, Doubters, Becoming Champion & More

Bobby Roode recently gave a worldwide media conference call, in which he talked about possibly achieving his lifelong goals of becoming World Champion this Sunday at Bound for Glory, plus many more subjects. Here are some highlights:

On the subject of accomplishing a lifelong dream of becoming a World Champion: "I got into this business over 13 years ago, to become World Champion. Being world champion is something I've dreamed about for as long as I can even remember. I know I have what it takes to be World Champion and this is my opportunity to take it, on our company's biggest stage of them all, Bound For Glory."

On Kurt Angle and the match this Sunday: "I know this match is going to be the hardest of my career, as I'm facing the man who in my opinion is the greatest wrestler that ever lived."

His thoughts on many seeing him as just a tag team wrestler: "Winning the title on Sunday would solidify the fact that I am a main eventer and that I am a true star. The only way to do this is to break out on my own and to prove to myself and others that I can do it".
