Correction On AWE 'No-Shows', WWE Job Openings, & More
– Chris Graham from AWE sent us the following: The news item claiming there were no-shows at the AWE PPV was inaccurate. Only one of the names listed had been advertised for the PPV. Buddy Landel missed the show because of injuries sustained in a car accident. Amy "Lita" Dumas and Baby Doll were at the show, just not on the PPV. Tommy Rich had been advertised for the show but pulled out before the show and had been removed from all advertising ahead of time. Also, Tully Blanchard ran the event and was the producer, while Dumas and Baby Doll did in-ring during the hour of dark matches.
We apologize for the error and have pulled the original report.
