Hogan Responsible For Roode Not Winning Title? Backstage Heat On Hogan

As noted earlier today, Bobby Roode was originally scheduled to win the TNA World heavyweight title at this past Sunday's TNA Bound For Glory PPV. According to a report on PWInsider, Hulk Hogan actually lobbied to have the finish changed, feeling that Roode was not ready to hold the title.

Hogan had said as much during an appearance on SiriusXM last week, stating, "He's [Roode] not ready... He's not the next guy. Ya' know, they might think he is. Dixie Carter might think he is. The whole world might think he is. He's not the next guy."

The report also stated that there was backstage heat on Hogan for recently criticizing AJ Styles on Twitter, especially after Styles had missed the TNA Fan Interaction event on Saturday due to a death in his family. Apparently, talent are joking about wanting to be transferred to Jeff Jarrett's new India project.
