AJ Styles Gives Injury Update + Turning Point Spoiler

As noted earlier, AJ Styles was recently interviewed on Busted Open with Doug Mortman and Dave LaGreca on Sirius XM Radio.

During the interview, Styles addressed his ankle injury and stated that he only be out of action for a week, whereas a normal person would be out 4-6 weeks. He then confirmed that he will still wrestle Bobby Roode for the TNA World Championship this Sunday at Turning Point (the match will be announced on Impact tonight).

Styles injured his ankle at last Friday's TNA Wrestling live event in Battle Creek, Michigan. The former TNA World Champion suffered a grade two high ankle sprain and posted a photo of the injured ankle at this link. He had stated after the injury occurred that he hoped to be back in action this Sunday.
