Frazier Passes Away, Stratus Movie News & Trailer, CHIKARA

– Boxing great "Smokin'" Joe Frazier passed away last night at the age of 67 after a brief bout with liver cancer. Frazier will always be remembered for his epic trilogy with Muhammad Ali, with both fighters each defeating the other by unanimous decision before meeting for the final time at the Thrilla in Manila in 1975. In one of the greatest heavyweight boxing fights of all time, Ali defeated Frazier via referee technical decision.

Frazier went on to fight twice more before retiring from the sport. He did some work in pro wrestling, cornering Mr. T against "Rowdy" Roddy Piper at WrestleMania 2, as well as refereeing the Ric Flair vs. Dusty Rhodes match at Starrcade in 1984. RIP Smokin' Joe.
