Update On Jeff Jarrett's AAA Heavyweight Title

We have learned that TNA hasn't been referring to Jeff Jarrett's AAA Heavyweight Title as the AAA Heavyweight Title because promoter Steve Ship has all U.S. rights to AAA's intellectual property. AAA is unable to tour in the U.S. without Ship as the promoter, and Jarrett can't wear the AAA insignias on his belt.

AAA and Ship are currently not doing business because Ship was behind the Lucha Libre USA promotion. AAA officials recently met with Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett in Nashville, TN about their future together, and there were talks about AAA running joint shows with TNA in the future.
