– We noted last week here on WrestlingINC.com that Jim Ross confirmed that Wrestlemania 28 has sold just over 43,000 tickets. In an update on this, the pay-per-view has already grossed over $6 million and set a new record for first day ticket sales. As of right now, the show is expected to hit a $8.5 million gate. That would set a record and would be the highest grossing pro wrestling event of all time.
