Yes sir, we promised you a great main event...
A montage of some of the top moments of the year were shown, hyping tonight's Slammy Awards.
The "I did not just see that moment of the year" is up first. Booker T and Hornswoggle, now with an afro, are out to present. Hornswoggle says he's excited to see Booker T beat down Cody Rhodes this Sunday. Here are the nominees:
I Did Not Just See That Moment Of The Year
1) Jim Ross (dancing during the Michael Cole challenge)
2) Alberto Del Rio winning the Royal Rumble
3) Santino Marella almost winning the Royal Rumble
4) A kid nailing R-Truth with a soda
5) The Miz's Rock impersonation
The winner is: Jim Ross
JR comes out to accept his award. He's surprised at winning the award, but it interrupted by Michael Cole. Cole said that the show is already a sham, and that he win the award for a dance contest that was rigged. Cole made some jokes about JR's weight. Booker T calls Cole a loser, and bets that Ross can beat Cole in a rap-off. Ugh. Ross headed to the ring for the contest.
Cole starts overacting and does his rap. Lame stuff, as you'd expect. Booker T called it the worst rap he'd ever heard and hands it over to JR, who said that he didn't need any music. Ross seemed to be forgetting his lines, and finishes by telling Cole that he can kiss his a–. Ross was even worse than Cole. Of course, the crowd voted for JR. Cole showed the Slammy off to Cole and then started to leave the ring, before he was stopped by Booker T. The crowd sounds like they just want the segment to end. Booker wants JR to deliver a "JR-roonie." Booker T shows his spinaroonie first. Booker then leads the crowd into chanting for JR, who did the worst spinaroonie that I've ever seen. He just looked like he was falling backward. I hope Vince is done humiliating JR for the year, but there are two more episodes left.
Mick Foley is shown walking in the back, he's presenting the next award.
Mick Foley and "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase are out to present the next award for "Holy [bleep] moment of the year." Foley said that he knows why he's here with the crazy bumps he's taken, but he's not sure why he's paired with Dibiase. Dibiase noted that he's a minister, and Foley noted that Dibiase is the "holy" part of the award, while Foley is the bleep. Here are the nominees:
Holy [bleep] Moment Of The Year
1) Sheamus powerbombing Sin Cara through a ladder
2) Randy Orton hitting Christian with an RKO onto the steel steps
3) The Mark Henry – Big Show superplex that collapsed the ring
4) Evan Bourne hitting Air-Bourne from the top of a ladder.
The winners are: Big Show and Mark Henry.
Big Show comes out to accept the award. Show thanks the academy, and says that the World championship will look great with the Slammy. He then said that he's up next and we're off to our first match.
Big Show's beat down on Henry from SmackDown is shown.
The Big Show vs. Wade Barrett
Barrett cut a promo heading to the ring, saying that Show better hope that he doesn't win the title or he'll have to face him. Barrett introduced a chair in the match, getting disqualified in the process. Show punched the chair, and Barrett high-tailed to the back. Show celebrated in the ring and then headed to the back.
A TLC promo aired.
The Road Dogg is introduced, who comes out to the New Age Outlaws music. Dogg did a rhyme and did his whole "ladies and gentlemen..." schtick. He's introducing the Pipe Bomb of the Year award. A cool highlights package aired. No specific nominees were named.
Pipe Bomb of the Year
Winner: CM Punk
Punk came out with a mannequin donning a blonde mullet and wearing a "Dynamic Dudes" shirt, poking fun at John Laurinaitis. Punk goes on to rip Laurinaitis and airs a tribute to Laurinaitis, awarding him a Lifetime Achievement Award. A highlights clip aired, featuring a lot of clips from his Johnny Ace days. Pretty good stuff. Punk said that Laurinaitis was not there, and he's accepting the award on his behalf.
CM Punk and Randy Orton vs. The Miz and Alberto Del Rio is hyped for later tonight.
A Tribute to the Troops promo aired.
Lita is introduced, who is looking great. Lita goes through some of her accomplishments and is presenting the award for "Divalicious Moment of the Year." The nominees are:
1) Natalya's double sharp shooter
2) Kelly Kelly winning the Diva's championship
3) Kharma beating down Michelle McCool
4) Beth Phoenix's top rope Glam Slam on Eve
The winner is: Kelly Kelly
Kelly comes out and accepts the award, but before she can give her speech, she's interrupted by Pin Up Strong. Beth Phoenix swipes the Slammy from Kelly, but Kelly retaliates with a big slap and retrieves the trophy. Phoenix and Natalya head to the back as Kelly and Lita celebrate.
A WWE '12 promo aired, showing Mark Henry vs. John Cena.
Santino Marella comes out to present the "OMG Moment Of The Year" award. The Bella Twins are out next to join him. The Bellas rip Santino for not knowing what "OMG" stands for, and Santino rips them back for being floozies. The nominees are:
OMG Moment Of The Year
1) HHH tombstones the Undertaker
2) The Rock hitting the Rock Bottom on John Cena at WrestleMania
3) The Superstars walking out on HHH
4) CM Punk winning the WWE Title at Money In The Bank
The winner is: Triple H tombstoning The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Triple H's music hits, and he comes out with a sledgehammer. The Game enters the ring and grabs a mic. He says that the OMG moment was not what was shown, but when the match was over and The Undertaker could not leave the ring under his own power. HHH said that he was the only man to walk out of the match, and nine months later The Undertaker was no more and the streak came to an end (?).
HHH turned his attention to Kevin Nash, and a recap of Nash's attack on HHH is shown. HHH said Nash should have finished the job because he's back. He said that he is right, and that he will bring the sledgehammer down over and over on Nash because he's right. He said that this Sunday he will show the world that he is right, and Nash is "simply done" to end the segment.
Tony Atlas and David Otunga are out to present the "Trending Star Of The Year" award. Atlas is laughing while Otunga is speaking. Otunga asks him to stop laughing, but Atlas keeps going. Otunga said that the nominees will square off in a fatal four way, and the first one to trend worldwide will be the winner is. The nominees are:
Trending Star Of The Year
1) Cody Rhodes
2) Daniel Bryan
3) Dolph Ziggler
4) Zack Ryder
Fatal Four Way
Cody Rhodes vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Zack Ryder
Great match with Ziggler winning after hitting Bryan with the Zig Zag. Jerry Lawler entered the ring and announced that Zack Ryder won "Trending Star of the Year." Ryder accepted the Slammy, but was hit with a Zig Zag. Ziggler celebrated with the Slammy to end the segment.
Christian is out to present the "Game Changer Of The Year" award. He first presented the "Courageous Moment of the Year" for coming out while injured. He is upset for not being nominated for this award, or for the "Superstar of the Year" award. He still called for one more match. The nominees are:
Game Changer Of The Year
1) HHH taking over as CEO from Vince McMahon
2) Edge retiring
3) Kevin Nash attacking CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio cashing in MITB
4) The Rock and John Cena agree to WrestleMania 28 match
The winner is: The Rock challenging John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania 28.
John Cena comes out to accept the award. Cena receives his customary boos. Cena says that the award is not just for him, and then introduces Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Silence. The crowd boos, and Cena acts surprised that he's not here. Cena then asks for the satellite clip from Rock, but there isn't one. Cena said that this was worse than JR's rap. Cena then apologized for himself and for "Team Bring It" for not bringing it. Cena then said that he hopes that his promo fuels his motivation to bring it at 'Mania, and the real game changing moment is WrestleMania 28 and hypes the event. Cena finishes by saying that he and Rock will change the game forever and leaves.
CM Punk and Randy Orton vs. The Miz and Del Rio
Wade Barrett interfered and tripped Rand Orton off of the ring apron when CM Punk was trying to make a tag. Miz capitalized and hit the SCF to pin Punk and get the win. After the match, Orton chased Barrett through the crowd while Del Rio and Miz introduced a ladder and put a beat down on Punk. Miz took the mic and said that one of them will take the title from Punk while Del Rio had an arm bar applied. Del Rio and Miz then swarmed over the fallen Punk to end the segment.

Sheamus vs. Jinder Mahal
Mahal cuts a promo on his way to the ring, saying that Sheamus will play a supporting role in Mahal's Slammy-winning performance. As he entered the ring, Sheamus planted him with a Brogue kick. Sheamus' music hit, he smiled and headed to the back. No match.
