– Though WWE announced two weeks ago a RAW SuperShow for Monday, April 9, 2012 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., an on-sale date for tickets still has yet to be determined.

– WUSA News in Baltimore, Maryland has provided more details on the death of pro wrestling student Quentin Washington, who died after hitting his head during training at Gillberg's school in Maryland. No foul play was involved, but his family plans to take legal action and push for changes in the way schools approach training. The family wants medical staff to be present at all times. The story reports that Washington hit his head and trainers thought he was just winded. He came back later, vomited and passed out. He was brain dead by the time his family arrived at the hospital. Gillberg's school hasn't commented.

– Two-time Royal Rumble winner Shawn Michaels congratulated Sheamus on his victory Sunday. He tweeted, "Good day everyone, hope ya'll are well. As always many are asking so, no I didn't see RR but yes heard Sheamus won. Awesome for him."

– As noted earlier here on the website, WWE decided to have Sheamus win the Royal Rumble last week even though the initial plan was to have Chris Jericho win it. The reason to go with Sheamus was to try and surprise fans that were expecting Jericho to win, with Michael Cole's line about which title Sheamus would go after being designed to lead fans to believe a big shake-up just happened. It's interesting to note that if Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus ends up happening at WrestleMania, it'll be a year after their match for the U.S. Title at WrestleMania 27 was pulled from the PPV and turned into a dark match for time reasons.
