TNA House Show Results From White Plains, NY (1/13) - Shelly Returns, Hardy Vs. Roode

Thanks to WrestlingINC.com reader Bobby Balloons for sending in these results from Friday's TNA house show at Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY:

The arena wasn't sold out, but it was about 2/3 full. Very rowdy crowd.

Opening match was for TNA X Division Championship: Austin Aries vs. Jesse Sorenson vs. Alex Shelly. Very good opening match. The crowd was very behind Shelly. It was great to see him back. Aries won to retain the championship.

Gail Kim defeated Velvet Sky to retain the Knockouts title. I can see why Sky is getting a continued push. Her ring skills have improved dramatically.

Best match of the night: AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels. Five star match. Styles won and the crowd was all over Styles.

Bully Ray defeated Rob Van Dam after hitting him with a chain. Bully Ray is such a comedian. He did a ten minute promo just picking on the crowd and was very entertaining.

James Storm defeated Kurt Angle in a quality match. The crowd was mixed on both of them. Afterward, Storm paid homage to Kurt Angle as the "Greatest Wrestler Ever" and can't wait to see him pick up another Olympic medal. They gave each other a hug afterwards and the crowd gave them a standing ovation.

Final match of the night: Jeff Hardy defeated Bobby Roode in a non-title match. Very good match. Jeff took pictures in the ring with the crowd after the match.

Biggest Pops:
1) Jeff Hardy
2) James Storm
3) Kurt Angle
4) Alex Shelly

Biggest Heat:
1) Bobby Roode
2) Bully Ray
3) Dave Hebner, who got lost of "You screwed Bret" chants
4) Christopher Daniels

More notes: Dave and Brian Hebner were in the lobby signing autographs on their T-Shirts. Velvet Sky was signing autographs during intermission.

Very good show and everyone had a great time. TNA announced that they will be returning soon.
