Vince Pulls CM Punk From UFC Appearance, Johnson Misses Weight, More UFC 142 News

– According to a report on MMAFighting.com, WWE Champion CM Punk will no longer be escorting Chael Sonnen to the cage at UFC On FOX in Chicago, IL on January 28th. Punk told the website that Vince McMahon nixed his appearance. As noted earlier, the deal was not put together by the UFC and WWE, and it was something Sonnen and Punk put together on their own.

– According to an article on FightLine.com, UFC 142 co-headliner Anthony Johnson missed his targeted 185 pound weight limit by a whopping twelve pounds, weighing in at 197lbs. UFC President Dana White called Johnson "unprofessional" and revealed that he would have to weigh in again this morning and not be above 205lbs, or else his bout with Vitor Belfort would be scrapped. Johnson ended up making weight this morning, weighing in at 204.2 pounds.
