C.M. Punk Discusses What The "CM" Represents

Recently, WWE champion C.M. Punk was interviewed by Real Milwaukee promoting WWE's Elimination Chamber PPV. During the interview, Punk discussed the origins of "C.M."

"It's a long story," Punk stated. "You don't really get to choose your career path, so to speak, when you start in wrestling. Me and a friend of mine were the 'Chick Magnets'. People are going to make a big deal out of me saying that, too. 'Oh. That's what it finally means.' No. It means a lot of things. It means 'Chicago Made'. It means, 'Championship Material.' You know... 'Chuck Mosley'. All sorts of stuff."

Punk was later asked which wrestler he would most want t face; past, present or future. The man that came to mind immediately for Punk was WWE Hall of Famer, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

"[It's] a no-brainer. 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. ... Do I think [I'd come out a winner]? Yeah. I absolutely, positively know I'd come out a winner in that. Steve's an actor now," C.M. Punk jabbed.

"Steve in his prime? I haven't even hit my prime yet. I'm scared thinking about me in my prime. I'm scared for Steven, actually," Punk stated.
