Shawn Michaels Discusses His Confrontation With Triple H
WWE.com recently posted an exclusive video of an in-character Shawn Michaels discussing his face-to-face encounter with Triple H on Raw this week.
Shawn stated that it was tough dealing with his friend in such a public manner, but he felt that this was something that had to be done.
"Yeah, of course it was (tough). I mean, it's like two brothers," Michaels stated. "You know what I mean? We fight, we make up. We fight, we make up. But we're honest with each other.
"I understand all the responsibility he's got. I get that. But at the end of the day, this is a business about winning and losing. Being the best or not being the best. He and I both made a commitment along time ago that we were both gonna try to reach that mark," Shawn insisted.
This is obviously in response to Triple H rejecting The Undertaker's offer to face one another at WrestleMania. Which is something that HBK doesn't agree with.
"I've stepped away. He can now take it to the next level, you know, and do something that no one else has done (by beating The Undertaker at WrestleMania). And he's turning it down. I don't agree with it," said Shawn. "I have that right to disagree with it. He sees it a different way and...
"Look, we're going to resolve this one way or another. I don't know. He and I have fought each other enough times. So, if we have to do that again, that's fine. We'll do it back behind the building. It doesn't matter to me. This is going to get taken care of, because that is not the same guy that I used to know. We all have responsibilities. I've got them. But you don't stop being who you are," Michaels finished.
