We open with a quick video package that features a short Hogan promo, and a bit of time spent focusing on the Four Way match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship which will main event the PPV this evening.

The pyro hits, and we get some "Vegas-style" music as Mike Tenay welcomes us to the PPV, and immediately begins hyping the main event. He's sitting alongside Jeremy Borash, and the two continue to talk about the competition that Robert Roode will be facing in his title match tonight.

#1 Contender's Match
Zema Ion vs. Jesse Sorensen

Zema Ion is the first man to make his way out to the ring, to a bit of a lukewarm reaction from the crowd. He's followed by Sorensen, who comes out without his letterman's jacket, but still carrying his football. He gets a positive reaction from the crowd.

Sorensen hands off his football to a child at ringside. Ion walks by with his hairspray, asking if the kid wants some, but the kid refuses. Sorensen ambushes Ion and hits him with a right before sending him into the ring to begin the match.

Sorensen hits Ion with a big belly to back suplex, then a nice bridging suplex before Ion makes his way to the outside to put on a bit more hairspray. Ion comes back into the ring with a slingshot, but doesn't catch anything but the mat. Sorensen tries for a couple of quick roll ups, but Ion won't stay down, and he catches Jesse with a boot to the stomach. Jesse hits Ion with a hurricanrana that sends Ion to the outside again.

Ion steals the football from the kid at ringside, much to the chagrin of the crowd. Jesse catches Ion with a baseball slide to the back while Ion is taunting the kid, but Jesse misses a plancha, and falls to the floor. Ion places the football aside before sending Jesse back into the ring, heading to the top, and hitting a beautiful missile dropkick. Jesse heads to the outside, so Ion goes to the top rope, and hits an asai moonsault from the middle rope, hitting Sorensen with his knees right to Jesse's face. Ion heads back into the ring, and it looks like Jesse might be legit shaken up.

The ref counts, and he gets all the way up to nine and Sorensen doesn't stir. Ion breaks the count for a second. The ref checks on Jesse and throws up an X. The bell rings, and this one is over.

Trainers run out from the back, and Sorensen has barely moved since Ion hit that moonsault. Ion heads out of the ring and toward the back, pointing at himself and saying he's the number one contender. Ion is indeed announced the winner of the match.

Winner and NEW #1 Contender to the X Division Championship: Zema Ion

Looking at the replay, it's obvious that Ion's knee did indeed strike Sorensen's head square. Doctor's are ringside checking on Jesse, and JB and Mike sell the "high risk" aspect of high risk moves.

Tenay and JB continue to discuss Jesse's injury, talking about how high risk moves are the hallmark of the X Division. They continue to replay footage of the move that led to Sorensen's count out, which doesn't seem right. People ringside are looking concerned and Tenay and JB continue to kill time for a bit before sending it backstage.

Backstage:

Christy Hemme is backstage with Robert Roode. Roode says Against All Odds is an appropriate name for tonight. He says he's got to defend his title against three of the best wrestlers in TNA. But on the flip side he's been champion for three months, and he walks in each night as World Champion, and out at World Champion. He gets the job done. He asks how many opportunities does Jeff Hardy need to take the title. Then says that he beat Storm for the title, and every time he's been in the ring with Storm since, he's beaten him. He then turns to Bully Ray and says he doesn't know what his problem is, but last week he turned his back on Roode, but that's ok, because Roode knows selfishness, and what goes around comes around. He says tonight he'll be the better man, and walk out champion. He says it'll be sweet to look at Sting when he walks out as Champion because he'll finally know why he's the it factor of pro wrestling, and the most dominant champion ever.

Robbie E.'s Open Challenge

Robbie E. is led out to the ring with Robbie T. to a bit of a non-reaction from the crowd.

Robbie has a mic and says since he's the best TV Champion of all time he and Robbie T. decided to create the Robbie E. Open challenge, so he's challenging anyone in the back, but he wants them to remember one thing. They're not on the list.

I guess it's worth noting Robbie T. has a clipboard with "The List" written on the back of it. After a bit of waiting, Shannon Moore makes his way out to the ring, and the Robbie's don't look too happy.

Robbie E. protests and tells the ref that Shannon isn't on the list. He whispers something in Terry's ear before making his way up to the apron, and apparently this match is on for the TV Title.

The bell rings and Robbie goes behind Moore, but things are quickly turned around. Robbie locks in a headlock, but Shannon fights it off and responds with arm drags and a drop kick that sends Robbie to the outside. Robbie heads over, grabs his belt, and hands it to Terry. The Robbie's head up the ramp, but E. is stopped by Shannon, who brings him back down to the ring, fighting him the whole way. Moore sends Robbie into the barricade before sending him back into the ring and following after.

Robbie clamps on a rear chin lock, but Moore is able to fight it off with wild punches. Moore sends Robbie into the corner, but eats a big boot, and another running back elbow. Moore lands on his feet from a belly to back suplex attempt, and hits Robbie with a big kick to the back of the head and both men are slow to get to their feet.

Robbie and Moore trade right hands, and Moore gets the upper hand with a series of forearms, and a facebuster to lay the champ out for another two count. Robbie heads to the outside and Moore hits the ropes, hitting Robbie with a baseball slide to the back. Moore heads out to the apron and hits a big asai moonsault from the second rope.

Moore sends Robbie back into the ring and tries for a couple of pinfalls, but Robbie won't stay down for three. Moore catches Robbie with an elbow in the corner, but misses a moonsault press, and eats a big running clothesline from Robbie that's good for another two count. Terry appears to be on the phone with someone. Robbie heads to the top rope, but Moore hits the ropes with a dropkick and Robbie crotches himself. Moore heads up to the top and hits a hurricanrana from the top to send Robbie flying across the ring, but he still won't stay down for a three count.

Moore tries for a neckbreaker, but it's countered. Shannon is sent into the rope and hit by Terry with a foreign object. Robbie slams Moore to the mat and goes for the pin, getting the three count.

Winner and STILL TNA Television Champion: Robbie E.

The Robbie's celebrate on their way to the back as Moore recovers and makes his way out of the ring.

Knockouts Championship
Gail Kim vs. Tara

We get a quick video package detailing the history between these two women over the past couple of weeks. This leads into Mike Tenay giving us a couple of bullet points, as I imagine they're still trying to fill time from that first match getting cut short.

Tara is the first woman to make her way out to the ring, and she gets a warm reaction from the crowd. I don't know if it's the way that they're mic'ed tonight, or what, but the crowd SOUNDS exceptionally small so far. Gail Kim is the next woman to make her way out, with Madison Rayne in tow, and they don't seem too happy with each other, arguing on their way to the ring. They both get a poor welcome from the crowd.

The bell rings and Tara ambushes Kim in the corner, hitting her with chops and tossing her by the hair around the ring before picking her up by her hair and hanging her. Kim fights off Tara and continues to argue with Rayne, which allows Tara to get the upper hand. Tara sends Kim out to the apron, and Kim is able to hit a neckbreaker, hanging Tara up on the top rope. Kim heads back into the ring and hits Tara with a boot to the face before hitting her with a big right hand. Kim launches Tara into the middle turnbuckle, hard.

Rayne yells something and walks away from the ring, waving to Kim on her way out. Kim sends Tara into the corner hard again, before jumping to the middle rope with a springboard cross body. Gail goes for the pin but only gets two. Gail locks in the stretch muffler, but Tara is able to fight her off.

Kim seats Tara on the top rope, heading up after her and hitting a hurricarana, but she gloats, takes too long, and turns around into a powerslam from Tara.

Tara fights off Kim with a series of rights, sending her into the ropes and hitting a big clothesline. Tara shoulders Kim and drops her down and out into a side slam for a two count. Kim rolls to the apron and heads to the top, but she's stopped by Tara. Tara heads up after Kim and back body drops her from the top down to the mat. Tara heads up and hits a moonsault from the top, but she's grabbing her knee in pain immediately.

Tara struggles to makes the pin, and when she does, she's only able to get a two count. Tara gets to her feet and picks up Kim, but Kim responds with a knee breaker, and then eat defeat. Kim pins Tara and gets the three count to retain her title.

Winner: Kazarian

Daniels climbs in the ring immediately following the match so that he can celebrate with Kaz. We get highlights of the match, which was another good outing on this card.

Backstage, Christy Hemme is standing with Eric Bischoff and Gunner. Bischoff says he's pissed off that Hulk needs to insert himself in his family business, but at the same time, he's grateful. He says the Gunner is probably going to destroy Garett. So much so that Garett may never be able to participate in physical activity again. He says he knows it's hard for a young man to live up to his father's success, and maybe he's driven Garett here. He says he's going to give Garett and Hulk and extra option tonight, and that's to throw in the towel. Gunner says tonight he's going to finish what he started. He says they're going to need that towel to wipe up what's left.

Garett Bischoff (w/ Hulk Hogan) vs. Gunner (w/ Eric Bischoff)

We get a video package that shows the events leading up to this abomination of (what will hopefully be a short) match. All I'm reminded off throughout the whole video, is how nothing Hogan and Bischoff do, will ever make me care about Garett.

Gunner is the first man to make his way out to the ring, accompanied by Eric Bischoff. Gunner is carrying a towel in hand, and he and Eric promised backstage. They get a little bit of heat from the crowd, but it seems like the crowd is about as excited as I am. Garett Bischoff is out next, and since he's with Hogan, he gets a good reaction. But the crowd immediately chanting for Hogan shows exactly who they care about. Tenay even references that the crowd are standing for "the trainer of Garett Bischoff".

Garett looks to be wrestling in gym pants. The bell rings and Gunner shoves Garett. Garett takes Gunner down with a couple of arm drags, then a sloppy dropkick. Gunner heads to the corner, and Earl Hebner holds Garett back. Gunner takes Garett down to the mat and slaps the back of his head.

Gunner gets back to his feet and Garett continues to work over the arm. Gunner fights it off with a head butt, continuing the assault with another before taking things into the corner, and raking his face across the top rope. Gunner buries his shoulder in Garett's midsection. Garett comes back with a couple of rights but Gunner puts him down with a clubbing blow to the back. Garett hits the ropes and Eric grabs his foot. The distraction gets up the ire of Hogan and Hebner heads to the outside to cool things down while Gunner beats on Garett and stomps away in the corner.

Garett hits a running forearm and takes Gunner down with a backslide. Garett locks on a front face lock, and Hogan is vocal for the first time in the match, telling Garett he's doing a good job. Gunner fights up to his feet and out of the hold, but he's rolled up, then hit with an atomic drop by Garett. Garett charges Gunner in the corner, but he's launched face first into the middle turnbuckle, then hit with a clothesline to the back of the head. Gunner hits Garett with a knee to the back, before bringing him up and beating him back down to the mat for another two count.

Garett tries to fight back, but Gunner continues the assualt, beating him up and stomping away on him on the mat. Gunner tosses Garett in front of Hogan and continues to stomp away at him. Garett fights back with more rights, but he's taken back down to the mat again with a shot to the gut, then a neck vise.

Garett refuses to give up, even though Gunner is wrenching away at his neck. Garett fights to his feet, but he's driven back to the mat with an elbow to the chest. Gunner picks Garett up and hits a rope assisted slingshot suplex for another two count.

Garett continues to try and fights back, but Gunner won't allow for much offense, until Garett picks up Gunner and drops him down face first to the mat. Hogan tries to pump up his protege. Both men get up and Gunner beats on Garett in the corner, but Garett comes back with a couple of right hands, only to be laid back out with a neckbreaker.

Gunner chokes Garett in front of Eric and Eric lays in a slap. Hogan has had enough and he takes Eric out with a big right hand. Back in the ring, Gunner continues work over Garett with another neckbreaker. Hogan seems pretty concerned, telling Hebner to check Garett's neck, so Gunner picks him up, and hits him with an elbow to the back of the neck. Gunner drops a knee on the back of Garett's head, and Hogan is pretty concerned still. Gunner tries for another neckbreaker, but Garett holds on to the ropes, and Gunner falls to the mat. Hulk heads up to the apron with the towel, but Garett waves him off. Gunner hits a DDT, and lays Garett out for the three count.

Winner: Gunner

Eric Bischoff is shown peeking over the apron, smiling and laughing. I have to say, this PPV went from really good, to really bad, really quickly. Hopefully the main event will bring things back. Bischoff and Gunner make their way to the back, gloating, while Hogan checks on Garrett, with concern on his face, in the ring.

Backstage:

Tenay and JB immediately turn their attention to Garrett Bischoff's "amazing performance" where he showed "lots of heart". They also offer up a couple of defenses for his performance before sending things backstage to Christy Hemme who's standing with Sting. Sting says he wanted to make sure everyone in the match tonight is on their best behavior. He says he'll make sure Bobby Roode doesn't walk away conveniently from the match by cheating. He says there'll be a clean cut winner, and it's showtime.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Robert Roode vs. James Storm vs. Bully Ray vs. Jeff Hardy

We get a video package looking at all four men competing in the World Title match tonight. Each man gets a decent amount of interview time, with footage of them interacting interspersed. Tenay and JB run down the "Tale of the Tape", showing some quick key stats for each man, and previewing some of the elements of tonight's match, including the inclusion of Sting as special enforcer.

Speak of the devil, the special guest enforcer, Sting, is the first man to make his way out to the ring. Interestingly, it looks like he'll probably get a formal ring introduction along with everyone else. Sting gets an overwhelmingly positive reaction from the crowd. Bully Ray is out next, and the crowd don't seem to care either way about seeing the big man.

Bully jaws with Sting while James Storm's music hits, and the second challenger for the title makes his way out from the back. Storm gets a nice pop from the crowd on his way out, but you have to think it would have been nice to hold off Sting's entrance as everyone else's entrance seems subdued compared to his.

Jeff Hardy is the final challenger to make his way out. He gets a pretty enthusiastic reaction from the crowd, but it still seems like Sting got the pop of the night. Hardy has eyes painted on his eyelids, and he takes some time to show off this handiwork before slapping hands with the fans on his way to the ring.

The TNA World Champion, Robert Roode, is the final man to make his way out to the ring. Roode seems to get a negative reaction, but again in comparison to Sting's and Hardy's, it's really hard to hear.

Christy Hemme performs formal ring introductions for everyone (well, except Bully Ray as he does his own introduction), and after quick a bit of fanfare, and what seems like an excessive amount of stalling on tonight's show, we're ready for the main event.

Roode tries to forge an alliance with Bully Ray right away, telling him that they can work together. Ray doesn't look too enthusiastic about the idea. Roode looks reluctant to hand over his title, but he gives it to the ref eventually. The bell rings and Roode continues to try and talk things over with Ray. All four men square off and Ray drops to the outside and crosses his arms. Ray looks at Roode, who turns around into right hands from both Storm and Hardy. They whip Roode into the ropes and hit a double back elbow.

Hardy hits a sit out front suplex and Storm follows up with a neck breaker. Storm and Hardy stomp away at Roode in the corner before choking the champ with their boots. Hardy and Storm call Ray to the ring, but he's not coming yet. Hardy and Storm whip Roode into the corner. Hardy whips Storm into the ropes, and launches himself off of Storm's back with a dive. Storm rolls up Hardy for a two count, so Hardy returns the favor. Roode goes to the top, but he's stopped by Storm and Hardy who hit a double team slam from the top. They turn around into a double clothesline from Ray.

Ray and Roode stare each other down. Roode goes for a high fight, but Ray goes for a urunage. Ray goes for the pin but it's broken up by Storm. Ray sends Hardy from the ring to the outside. Storm is able to take Ray to the mat with a Russian leg sweep. Storm takes out Roode with a back stabber for a two count. Storm turns to Ray but catches a boot to the chest. Storm and Roode duck a clothesline from Ray and hit a double team suplex.

Storm and Roode tease the crowd for a bit before trading rights. Storm back drops Roode in the middle of the ring, but charges into double boots in the corner. Hardy is back in and hits a back elbow to Roode and the whisper in the wind to Roode. Hardy sends Storm from the ring with a jawbreaker, but he's laid out by Ray with a big boot.

Ray drops a series of elbows on Hardy for a two count. Ray knocks Storm from the apron and back out to the floor to keep him out of the match. Hardy hits Ray with a series of rights, but Ray back drops Hardy, and splashes Hardy for another near fall. Sting is shown watching from the outside. Ray takes Hardy into the corner and rips his shirt before hitting him with a big chop to the chest. Ray tries to hang Hardy up in the tree of woe, but seats him on the top turnbuckle instead.

Ray follows up and hits a superplex on Hardy while Storm and Roode fights on the outside. Roode heads back into the ring, and Ray calls for a spike piledriver on Hardy. Hardy fights it off and hits a leg drop to the midsection of Ray. Storm and Hardy head up for a double suplex. Ray gets in on the action, and turns it into a tower of doom by power bombing Storm and Hardy. Ray goes for a couple of pins, then a side slam on Storm and another pin, but can't get a three count.

Hardy hits the twist of fate on Ray, but turns around into a fight, and a TKO from Roode. Roode charges Hardy, but he's checked across the ring by Ray. Ray tries to splash Hardy in the corner, but Hardy avoids it and Ray splashes the ref. Ray hits Hardy with the Bubba bomb, but the ref is down and Ray's pin doesn't mean anything. Hardy hits the twist of fate on Ray, and he goes for the pin but the ref is again still down. Roode hits a spear on Hardy, and Storm hits the code breaker on Roode. Storm calls for the last call and he hits it on Roode. Storm pins Roode, but Ray pulls the ref from the ring. Sting confronts Ray on the outside and Storm leaps over the top, but he connects with the ref.

Back in the ring, Roode hits a spinebuster on Ray. Hardy hits Roode with a twist of fate, but misses the swanton. Roode heads to the outside and grabs the belt. Sting heads into the ring and tears the belt away from Roode. Roode shoves Sting and argues with him, daring him to hit Sting before spitting in his face. Sting swings the belt at Roode, but connects with Hardy when Roode ducks. Sting looks furious, yelling at Roode. Roode drops to his knees and yells at Sting to count the pinfall. Roode laughs in Sting's face as he counts three for Roode.
