FCW President's Statement On If Promotion Is Shutting Down, CW Anderson & Lanny Poffo Shoot
– FCW President Steve Keirn sent the following text message to Jesse Kage of 98 Rock in Tampa about the reports of FCW shutting down: "Rasslin' rumor, not true." As noted earlier, all current FCW events scheduled for this weekend will go along as planned, and PWInsider reports that WWE sources are saying that there are no plans to shut down the developmental league, although the show on the Brighthouse Network will be ending.
– ECW original and MLW Tag Team Champion CW Anderson once again joined Mister Saint Laurent on MLW Radio, the official podcast of Major League Wrestling, which drops a new show each and every week for FREE at MLW.com and on iTunes. During the interview, Anderson spoke about his WWE release.
"I injured my back working Kevin Thorne and I couldn't go to the next TV tapings because I'd slipped a disc in my back," Anderson explained. "They start paying for rehab because I can't work, I can barely walk. The WWE doctor calls me one day and says Vince needs you to come in and take these steroid injections in your back so you can come back to work. I said it wasn't going to happen. I was a baseball player for 15 years. I know what steroid injections in your back do. They numb your back, all it does is numb it. You go out there and think nothing is wrong and when the pain wears off you're worse off than what you were."

– Here is an interesting two-part interview with Lanny Poffo. During the interview, Poffo talks about Bam Bam Bigelow, Curt Hennig, steroids, how much he made in WWF, wrestling Hulk Hogan, backstage politics and much more.
