More Notes From Last Night's WWE Live Event At MSG: Another Near Title Change, Triple H

Thanks to WrestlingINC.com reader Beth for sending in these notes from last night's WWE live event at Madison Square Garden in New York City:

Primo and Epico vs. Kofi Kingston and R-Truth wasn't the only title match to have new champions crowned, only for the match to continue. Prior to Santino Marella's defeat of Jack Swagger, Swagger actually pinned Santino. However, Teddy Long came out to say that the match needed to be restarted because Santino's feet were touching the ropes. While Long and Laurinitis argued, the match went on. Swagger had Santino on the run but Hornswoggle showed up from nowhere to get in the way and Santino won. Santino, Hornswoggle and Long danced around the ring doing the trombone move and do-si-do-ing for a while and left.

Orton and Triple H got a HUGE ovation when each came out. Triple H held Dolph Ziggler up in a crazy handstand move (sorry, I don't know the terminology) for a good 10 seconds before throwing him down to the mat.

Eve came out to say something about how badly she feels and asked the fans for forgiveness. It was hard to hear her because of the loud "hoeski" chant that was going on. She then announced the Divas match.

Cena may have gotten a mixed reaction while the match was going on, but the ovation was thunderous when he first came out from back stage. After the match, he said how great it was to be at the Garden and played up Wrestlemania in NY next year. He said it will be even better than WM28 in Miami in April.

Full results from the live event are at this link.
