- IHWE held it's annual Texas Wrestling Hall of Fame Ceremony this past weekend in Fort Worth, TX. Jazz, who got her start in the DFW Territory, was honored as well as Kamala, who was able to accept the induction via telephone call. Also honored was the Dallas Sportatorium, Krusher Kong, Spoiler 2000 and Prince Al Farat. IHWE revealed that the first inductee for the 2013 class will be Killer Karl Kox.

- The aftermath of 'Best of the Best' (iPPV replay available at HybridEnt.TV) comes to a head this Friday, April 27 when CZW heads to Glasgow High School in Newark, DE with a 7 p.m. bell time. Greg Excellent vs. Shane Strickland, Latin Dragon vs. Niles Young, The Runaways vs. Young Money and Mia Yim vs. Kimber Lee have been announced for the event. - Absolute Intense Wrestling presents "The J.T Lightning Invitational Tournament" (JLIT) on May 11th & 12th from The Historic Turners Hall in Cleveland, OH. The JLIT will be a two day "TPI Style" tournament featuring 24 men to honor the godfather of Cleveland Independent Wrestling – longtime Cleveland area wrestler and promoter J.T Lightning, who passed away after a well documented battle with cancer at the age of 41 in August of 2011. J.T was very influential and helpful in the launch of Absolute Intense Wrestling in 2005, and the organization plans to hold a yearly tournament featuring the best independent wrestlers in the country.
