Update On Lesnar's Last UFC Loss, UFC Title Fight In Limbo, Dana On Failed Drug Test, More

- As noted earlier this week, Alistair Overeem – the man who defeated Brock Lesnar in his last UFC fight – failed a surprise pre-fight drug test that he was given last week. FightLine.com reports that The Nevada State Athletic Commission, which administered the test, will not change Overeem's win over Lesnar from last year since this result had no effect on that decision. - Overeem was scheduled to face Junior dos Santos at UFC 146 next month for the UFC heavyweight championship, however that fight is in limbo. Overeem can ask for his "B" sample to be tested and if that clears, he could be granted a license to face dos Santos. According to FightLine.com, dos Santos will still defend his title at UFC 146, regardless of what happens with Overeem.

- As you could probably imagine, UFC President Dana White was absolutely livid at Overeem over the failed drug test, telling The Star Phoenix, "I am beyond pissed about this. I'm so (expletive) mad right now I can't even begin... How (expletive) stupid do you have to be? Seriously dumb.

"Anybody who's using (performance-enhancing drugs) right now is an absolute (expletive) moron. It's beyond – what's the word I'm looking for – it's beyond belief. It's beyond comprehension. You're an absolute moron, a brain-dead absolute (expletive) dummy. It goes beyond a guy having any common sense whatsoever."

– Brock Lesnar may not be the only former MMA Champion to be joining the WWE roster. As we noted last week, The Wrestling Observer recently reported that former Strikeforce fighter King Mo Lawal is interested in going to WWE. Lawal had expressed interest in joining pro wrestling after his MMA career was over, and was even recruited by WWE's Gerald Brisco several years ago before deciding to try out for the Olympics. After failing to make the Olympic team, Lawal pursued MMA.
