RAW Taping At Denver Debacle Location, Long-Time WWE Critic In Hot Water For Racist Rant, More
- The WWE Raw Supershow on Monday, July 9th, 2012 will be held at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. This is the first televised event that WWE has booked at the Pepsi Center since the "Denver Debacle" in 2009.
- Long-time WWE critic Phil Mushnick, who once ripped the company for entertaining "their impressionable young TV audiences with racist, homophobic, misogynistic and xenophobic scripts," is in hot water for some comments he made in regards to rapper Jay-Z's choices for the Brooklyn Nets new uniforms. Mushnick, who works for the New York Post, wrote, "As long as the Nets are allowing Jay-Z to call their marketing shots — what a shock that he chose black and white as the new team colors to stress, as the Nets explained, their new 'urban' home — why not have him apply the full Jay-Z treatment? Why the Brooklyn Nets when they can be the New York N——s? The cheerleaders could be the Brooklyn B—-hes or Hoes. Team logo? A 9 mm with hollow-tip shell casings strewn beneath. Wanna be Jay-Z hip? Then go all the way!"
- WWE posted this preview of the Rock vs. John Cena match at WrestleMania XXVIII to promote the DVD release of the event.
