- Forbes has listed Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as one of the most powerful celebrities in the world and calls him one of the most bankable action movie stars. According to the article, "The Great One" he has made $36 million over the last 12 months and has helped save movie franchises like Fast and Furious, Journey to the Center of the Earth and GI Joe. The article noted that The Rock and his manager, ex-wife Dany Garcia, have decided to embrace his wrestling background after being forced to stop talking about his former career by his former management team.

"It reached a point where I felt that ­instead of me trying to conform to Hollywood, I needed to have ­Hollywood conform to me and ­embrace my past," said Johnson.

- WWE and D-Smart today announced a two-year television distribution deal that brings WWE Raw and SmackDown to D-Smart, a leading digital broadcasting platform in Turkey. Under this new agreement, the one-hour international versions of WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown will be available every Saturday night at 11 p.m. (SmackDown) and 12 a.m. (Raw) on D-Smart channel 77, Smart Spor.
