WWE Live Event Results From Syracuse, NY (5/13) - Ryder Vs. Ambrose, Phoenix Vs. Layla, Cena

The building looked to be about 75-85% full.

Brodus Clay (with Hornwoggle, Naomi and Cameron) defeated JTG in a five minute match.

Zack Ryder defeated Dean Ambrose via disqualification. Ambrose got decent heat, and the crowd was behind Ryder for the whole match. The end of the match saw Ambrose pounding away at Ryder in the corner. The referee gave Ambrose a five count and then issued the DQ. After the match, Dolph Ziggler hit the ring and nailed Ryder with the Zig Zag. Ziggler then took the mic and said that he was the best in the company.

WWE Divas Champion Layla defeated Beth Phoenix in what was said to be a good match.

United States Champion Santino Marella defeated Jack Swagger and The Miz after Santino hit Miz with the Cobra to get the win. Santino got a good reaction from the crowd.

WWE Tag Team Champions R-Truth and Kofi Kingston defeated Epico and Primo (with Rosa Mendes). Epico and Primo dominated the match and hit Kofi with a backstabber to get the pin, but Kofi had his foot on the rope. The referee counted three, and Epico and Primo are momentarily awarded the tag team titles. Another ref runs down and explained to the original ref that Kofi had his foot on the rope. The match was restarted and Kofi hit Trouble In Paradise to get the win for his team.

Lord Tensai squashed Tyson Kidd.

John Cena defeated Dolph Ziggler (with bodyguard Mason Ryan). Cena came out to the biggest pop of the night. Ryan interfered a few times when Ziggler would distract the ref. Ultimately Cena hit Ziggler with the AA to get the win.

In the main event, CM Punk defeated Chris Jericho via pinfall with the GTS. Punk got the second biggest pop of the night. Match was said to be good.
