WWE Smackdown Recap: Sheamus Vs Bryan, Sandow Debut, Ryback
Welcome to the Smackdown Recap. The opening video runs and we get pyro and crowd shots. Josh Matthews is on commentary and he says it's a chaotic time in WWE. We will follow up on the HHH-Lesnar situation and the Cena-Laurinaitis issue. Michael Cole is there as well. So is Booker T.
Sheamus makes a full entrance to a good reaction. He says he's out here doing what he loves, fight. He loves to fight no matter where it is. He says Daniel Bryan almost tore is shoulder off at Extreme Rules and tonight he wants to finish the job. He says he gave Byran a one word answer when he asked for a match, "Yes, Yes ?" Bryan's music hits and Sheamus continues to chant "Yes!" as Bryan comes to ringside. He literally says it about a hundred times. Bryan is not pleased. Sheamus stop and Bryan gets in the ring. Cole says Sheamus stole Bryan's catchphrase. Booker says he stole his title.
Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan
Sheamus favors his left shoulder but manages an early shoulder block to Bryan who gets up smiling. Bryan goes for the left arm Sheamus elbows him in the face and Bryan goes down. Bryan hits a reverse armbreaker then proceeds to stomp Sheamus' left arm in the corner. The ref pulls him off. Bryan continues to work the arm. Sheamus tries some elbows to fight back. He starts unloading on Bryan in the corner.
He clotheslines Bryan out of the ring. From out of nowhere Sheamus turns around into a splash from Ricardo Rodriguez off the top. Del Rio enters and punts him in the head and applies a cross armbreaker. Bryan comes in as Del Rio backs off. Bryan applies the Yes Lock. Two refs get him off. Del Rio and Bryan have words. Sheamus rolls out of the ring but wants back in. The refs won't let him.
Winner by disqualification: Sheamus

Sheamus is tended to backstage and is angry and doesn't cooperate with the trainers as they him questions.
Kofi & Truth come to the ring to Kofi's music. We see a video of their title win from Monday. Hunico & Camacho make their way down.
Kofi & Truth vs. Hunico & Camacho
Before the bell rings Epico & Primo's music hits and they come out on the stage with AW and Rosa Mendes. Truth and Kofi take control on Hunico. Hunico knocks Kofi out of the ring and this allows Camacho to hit a vicious clothesline on the outside. Back in the ring Hunico gets a near fall and chokes Kofi with his boot in the corner. Camacho comes in and delivers a delayed suplex to Kofi and gets 2. Camacho continues to cut the ring off. Hunico tags in and delivers a Jeff Hardy style double dropkick in the corner. Booker calls it "Two feet to the Mush."
Kofi fights back an armdrag to Hunico and leaps to make a tag but Hunico catches him. Hunico tries to punch Truth on the apron but Truth block him and Hunico turns around into a monkey flip by Kofi. Truth and Camacho both tag in and Truth hits a flurry of his signature offense. Hunico comes in to break a pin and gets punched by Truth. Kofi gives Hunico a Truth assisted hurricanrana and Hunico goes flying out of the ring. In the ring Truth does a split to avoid Camacho and catches him in the Little Jimmy for the win.
Winners by pin: Truth & Kofi
AW and company look-on from the stage. Kofi & Truth acknowledge them and raise their titles in the air. They are inviting them down to the ring but AW tells Epico & Primo to stay back.

Broadus Clay does his full entrance. There is a new part at the beginning where he introduced his dancers by name as Cameron and Naomi, The Funkadactyls. The crowd pops for him. Booker T says Shucky Ducky. Vickie Guerrero comes out to a sea of boos. She says her man will derail the funk train, Jack Swagger. Ziggler is with him.
Broadus Clay vs. Jack Swagger
Broadus Clay hits an early belly to belly. Swagger kicks the knee and takes Clay down to one knee but he gets up. Ziggler distracts on the outside and allows Swagger to hits a running splash which sends Clay to the outside. Ziggler tries to capitalize and leaps off the apron but Clay blocks him with his head. Back in the ring, Clay catches Swagger and hits a fall away slam. Clay runs the ropes looking for a splash but Swagger wisely rolls out of the ring. Swagger grabs Ziggler and Vickie and they leave.

Clay brings some young fans in the ring and they dance.

-Cena, Laurinaitis recap from RAW
Matthews says Cena exasperated his injuries from Extreme Rules. Cole says Laurinaitis snapped under pressure. Laurinaitis is not at Smackdown, he's taken a "personal day."
Bryan and Del Rio argue in Eve's office. Bryan is mad that Del Rio cost him the match earlier. Del Rio says he's next in line for a World Title match. Bryan says he gets Punk next. Bryan demands another match with Sheamus. Eve says he doesn't make demands. She says she'll check with the doctors to see if Sheamus can compete tonight. She kicks them out.
Damien Sandow walks toward the ring. He makes his debut, next.

Damien Sandow comes out to "Hallelujah." Lilian Garcia announces him as the self-professed intellectual savior of the masses. Derrick Bateman is already in the ring. Sandow grabs a mic on the apron and introduces himself. He says tonight was supposed to be a special night. The crowd "what"s him and he says thank you for your irrelevant opinion. He says in order to be a true role model he cannot and will not engage the miscreant in the ring. He says Bateman is a simple-minded ignoramus who is no different than the fans in attendance. He says he won't compete for everyone's good, you're welcome. Sandow walks backward with his arms outstretched, up the ramp.
Bateman grabs a mic and says he earned this match on Smackdown so he wants a match. Ryback's music hits.
Ryback vs. Bateman
Bateman attacks Ryback with kicks but Ryback no-sells and sends him into the ropes and hits him with a big boot. Ryback slams his head on the mat a few times. The crowd chants "Goldberg." Ryback Gorilla Presses Bateman then transitions into a sit-down spine-buster. Ryback picks him up by his face, hits the ropes and delivers a stiff clothesline. Ryback yells "finish him" and hits his signature modified Samoan Drop and gets the pin.
Winner by pin: Ryback
Ryback yells "feed me!"

The lights go out and Kane comes to the ring for a tag-team match. Cody Rhodes joins him. Big Show enters, followed by Orton.
Kane & Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show & Randy Orton
Orton locks up with Cody and takes control with a shoulder block and a clothesline, both of which take Cody down. He tags Show who chops Cody across the chest and rams him in the corner with his butt. He slams Cody and tags Orton. Orton gets 2. Orton hits a standing dropkick. Cody kicks the knee, falls to the mat and punches Orton and escapes with a tag to Kane. Kane takes control with knees in the corner. Orton gets a knee up and runs to tag Show. Show cleans house and stomps Kane in the corner. Show sends him into the ropes but Kane scouts him when he bends down and DDTs Show.

Cody stomps Show in the ring and tags Kane. Crowd chants for Show. Kane puts the boots Show. Cody does too, behind the ref's back. Kane gets 2. Kane applies a rear choke. Show works his way up and side slams Kane to get free. Both men make the tag. Orton dominated Cody. He goes for the DDT in the ropes but Kane saves him. Orton hits it on Kane instead. Orton looks for the RKO but Kane counters and pushes him off. Cody pulls the rope down and Orton goes flying to the outside.
Kane tries to ram Orton into the pole but Orton turns the tables but Kane prevents his face from making contact with the steel. Kane delivers a big boot and takes Orton back in. Kane gets a 2 count and tags Cody. Orton fights back but Cody hits a standing dropkick and tags Kane. Show tries to rally the crowd. Kane whips Orton into the corner and follows in but Orton hits him with a reverse elbow. Orton hits a desperate backbreaker.
Show gets in position for the tag but Orton crawls toward the wrong corner and he turns around into a clothesline from Kane. Cody tags in to make the cover and gets a 2. Orton fights up and hits a back body drop. He tags Show who launches Cody for a back body drop. Show goes for a chokeslam but Kane comes off the top and stops him. Orton hits the RKO on Kane. Cody sends Orton shoulder first into the post. Cody goes for the Disaster Kick on Show but Show swats him away in the chest. Show hits the WMD.
Winners by pin: Show & Orton
Matt Striker is outside the medical room. Sheamus storms out and Striker asks him if he's cleared. Sheamus says he came here to fight and that's what he's going to do.

Layla vs. Natalya
Natalya is already in the ring. They go back and forth with some nice moves and counters. Natalya finally hits a forearm in the face to get the advantage. She plants Layla face-first on the mat. Natalya delivers a clothesline and gets a 2. Layla hits a nice takedown and a neckbreaker for the win.

Eve is directing a photo shoot for Aksana and Antonio. She wants the right lighting and makeup, etc. She tells Antonio to be a little more intense. She says he looks a little dry and asks for some oil. She wants Teddy Long to apply the oil. Teddy comes in with his large name tag and says he's not rubbing oil on a man. Eve tells him to make himself useful. Teddy rubs oil on Antonio's back and chest and doesn't look happy.

Kaitlyn and Alicia Fox are talking backstage; AJ shows up. Alicia leaves them so they can be alone. AJ says
she can't believe what she did to her last week. She wants forgiveness and says she's lost. Kaitlyn says she felt betrayed and she believes her but her pity party over Daniel Bryan needs to stop. AJ immediately smacks her in the face hard and Kaitlyn goes down. AJ walks away with a cold look in her eyes. Kaitlyn holds her face and looks on in disbelief.
Cole says AJ has completely lost it. Matthews throws to the HHH-Lesnar recap.
-RAW Rebound
Matthews says HHH suffered a broken arm and Cole says he has tendon damage and will need surgery. He says you have to assume Brock will be fired but they haven't heard anything official.
Del Rio's music hits and he drives up in a silver Bentley, introduced by Ricardo. He is going to join commentary. They show what happened to Sheamus earlier. Del Rio shakes Cole's hand but makes Ricardo shakes Booker's hand instead.

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan
Bryan comes to the ring. Sheamus comes down with a taped shoulder and he is favoring it. They feel each other back. Sheamus pushes Bryan back with one arm and then punches him down. Del Rio says he is an Irish Peasant. Bryan drop toe holds Sheamus who hits the second turnbuckle face first. Bryan kicks the hurt shoulder then continues to stomp it in the corner as the ref pulls him off. Del Rio smiles at ringside. Sheamus makes it to his feet but Bryan knocks him kicks and punches the shoulder more and he goes down. Bryan front drop kicks the shoulder.
Bryan continues to decimate Sheamus as the ref keeps restraining him. Sheamus tries to keep him away from the shoulder but is unable to. Bryan charges at Sheamus who is on his knees but Sheamus catches him with the good arm and hits him with a backbreaker. Sheamus goes for a Brogue Kick but Daniels moves and pulls the rope down as Sheamus goes flying out of the ring. Sheamus makes his way on the apron but Bryan dropkicks the shoulder and Sheamus flies to the security wall.

Bryan leaps off the apron with a flying knee to Sheamus' face and brings him back in. Bryan kicks him back out of the ring and sends Sheamus shoulder first into the steel post. Bryan sends him back in and goes up top and delivers a head-butt to the shoulder of Sheamus; he gets a 2. Bryan is intense and relentless. Bryan rips the tape off Sheamus' shoulder and twists it behind Sheamus' back as he drops knees on it. Sheamus works his way up and manages to throw Bryan into the post in the corner.
Sheamus hits forearms to the chest in the ropes. He does it again and suplexes Bryan back in the ring and gets a 2. Bryan gets another backbreaker and kicks out. Sheamus hits knees to the shoulder of Bryan. Bryan drives the shoulder across the rope and goes up top and hits a front drop kick to the shoulder and Sheamus kicks out. Bryan hits the ropes and charges but Sheamus hits him with a double axe handle. Sheamus sets Bryan for a powerbomb but Del Rio jumps on the apron and distracts him. Bryan tries to apply a Yes Lock but Sheamus throws him into Del Rio. Bryan goes up top but Sheamus hits him with a Brogue Kick on his way down. Sheamus gets the pin.

Sheamus holds the title in the air in the ring as Del Rio looks on from the stage.
