Diamond Dallas Page Responds To False Hall Of Fame Rumors

Reports recently began surfacing that Diamond Dallas Page stated during an interview (not on this site) that he would turn down an invitation to be inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame unless Randy Savage and Jake Roberts were in. I spoke with DDP this morning while he was on his way to Comic-Con, and he stated that he "absolutely" would accept an invitation to be inducted if it were offered.

"When I was being interviewed, they kept asking me over and over and over again [if he wanted to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame]," Page explained. "I told them, 'listen, it's not that big of a deal. Until Jake Roberts and Randy Savage are in, who am I to b—h about anything? [laughs] What happens, happens. It's not something I sit around thinking about.'

"But I sure as hell didn't say that I'd turn it down... that's ridiculous. The [expletive] that wrote that took me out of context."
