- On tonight's 1000th episode of WWE RAW, The Miz beat Christian to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Bret Hart appeared live before the match as the guest ring announcer.

- Stephanie McMahon made an appearance on RAW during the Paul Heyman and Triple H segment.

Heyman announced that Brock Lesnar will face Triple H at the Summerslam pay-per-view event next month.
