ROH Adds Another Team To Tournament, Brutal Bob Petitions For TV Title Match
- Ring of Honor has added Rhett Titus and a mystery partner as the seventh team for the ROH World Tag Team Tournament, which begins this Friday at their Baltimore, Maryland television tapings. Titus was stripped of the ROH World Tag Team Championship after former All Night Express partner Kenny King left the promotion to sign with TNA as a member of their X Division.
Titus and his partner enter the tournament alongside The Briscoe Brothers, The Young Bucks, BLK OUT, The Guardians of Truth, Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander, The Bravado Brothers and one more team yet to be announced.
- One notable team currently absent from the tournament is Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Hass, The World's Greatest Tag Team. It'll be interesting to see if they are added to the tournament.
- Brutal Bob Evans is the latest performer to blog on ROHWrestling.com. In his blog, he is petitioning for a "Proving Ground" match with current ROH Television Champion Adam Cole for the "Boiling Point" iPPV card taking place on August 11th. Cole is signed to appear, but is not yet booked for a match. Click here to read Evans' blog, "Pay Attention & Read."
