St. Louis Wrestler Says He Won't Be On Raw, Hornswoggle Celebrates Anniversary

- Evan Bourne stated Sunday that he will not be on hand for tomorrow night's historic 1,000th episode of Raw emanating from his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.

He wrote Sunday on Twitter, "Sorry friends! I won't be in STL for the epic #raw1000 but when I DO work my way back on Raw, it will also be epic!"

Bourne remains sidelined after breaking his foot in four places and dislocating it in five in an automobile accident in March. Though no timetable has been given for his return to the squared circle, he noted last week that his foot is healing properly. He is scheduled to make his first WWE-related appearance since injury this Wednesday in Orlando, Florida for developmental league Florida Championship Wrestling.

Another St. Louis-based wrestler in Randy Orton will be missing the show due to his ongoing sixty-day suspension for WWE's Talent Wellness Program.

- Today marks the five-year anniversary of Hornswoggle capturing the WWE Cruiserweight Championship in a Cruiserweight Open at The Great American Bash. He celebrated this historic occasion with a Twitter message and picture of the belt: "5 years ago today! Never would've thought in a million years. #ultimateunderdogstory #livinthedream."

Hornswoggle was the final Cruiserweight Champion before the belt was retired.
