Batista's MMA Debut To Be Televised, Vader's Return, Shad Gaspard On Shane Helms' Podcast

- The Wrestling Observer reports that former WWE Champion Dave Batista's MMA debut will be televised on DirecTV. Batista will be facing Rashid Evans (not to be confused with the UFC's Rashad Evans) on October 6th. The CES Network, which will be airing the event, will also be doing a four-part special on the former WWE superstar leading up to the fight.

- Also on October 6th, Vader will face Mad Man Pondo at the Pro Wrestling Freedom event in Corbin, KY. Bell time is 8pm, with a special meet and greet at 6pm. You can get more information on their Facebook page at this link.
