ROH World Champion Allegedly Assaults Two Fans At Last Night's IPPV
Kevin Steen retained his ROH World Championship by defeating Chikara Grand Champion Eddie Kingston in the main event of last night's Ring of Honor "Boiling Point" iPPV. As Steen made his way up the aisle after the match, he entered into a confrontation with two fans sitting in the front row. One fan spit on him after Steen had kissed another fan, and both men were hit by Steen.
Here is a fan report of the incident from user @Fork_Tongue on Twitter:
"s–t talking fans. Steen kissed one. Fan pushed Steen. Steen punched him. His friend spit, got hit. Steens fault. The end."
Steen commented about the incident on his Twitter, writing, "I'm not sorry." A fan replied, "For kissing him? You should be. That's the unwanted physical contact that will end up being the death of ROH. Nice work champ." Steen simply replied, "Thanks!"
