WWE Superstars Recap: Rhodes Vs. Gabriel, Sandow, Riley-McIntyre

Damien Sandow vs. Yoshi Tatsu

Josh Matthews is absent due to his confrontation with Kane on Monday.

Sandow begs our indulgence for a moment. He says we all suffer from ignorance but it his duty as out savior and martyr, to save us. Yoshi makes his entrance. Sandow starts off strong and relentless. Yoshi gets cheers from the crowd. Yoshi gets in a chop but Sandow continues the assault. Sandow gets 2. The crowd chants "You suck" at Sandow. Yoshi rolls him up for a near fall but Sandow thwarts him. More offense from Yoshi, chops and knees. Yoshi lands a reverse kick and goes up top but misses. Sandow hits his leg sweep and his finisher for the pin.

Winner by pin: Damien Sandow

Sandow does a cartwheel and takes a bow.

Drew McIntyre vs. Alex Riley

McIntyre is still wearing his protective gear for his injured wrist. Drew gets in some shots but Riley connects with a dropkick. Drew regroups on the outside. Riley goes after him and leaps off the steps but Drew counters him and sends him in the ring for a 2. Drew puts the boots to Riley in the corner. Riley tries a backslide but only gets 2.

Drew continues with punishment in the corner. Riley rolls him up from out of nowhere and gets the surprising pin.

Winner by pin: Alex Riley

-RAW Rebound

Justin Gabriel vs. Cody Rhodes

They lock up and make a break but Cody seems unfocused. Gabriel rolls him up and gets 2. Cody slaps Gabriel and Gabriel turns it up with chops. Cody gets launched over the top and splashed-on.

(Break)

Gabriel is still in full control. Gabriel is pushed off the top and Cody works Gabriel's previously injured left arm on the apron. Cody plants him face-first and gets 1. Cody is focused now. Gabriel fights up to a vertical base but Cody stays right on top of him. Gabriel manages an armdrag but misses with the springboard moonsault. Cody applies an arm submission but Gabriel fights out. Gabriel lands kicks and a clothesline for 2. Cody gets caught in a sit-down spinebuster for 2. Gabriel rolls him up for 2. They trade shots and Cody counters Gabriel with Cross Rhodes for the win.

Winner by pin: Cody Rhodes

Cody gloats in the ring.
